Youngster wins at Lausitzring

First rookie win in the 2010 SEAT Leon Supercopa season: on Sunday (06 June 2010), Philipp Frommenwiler won the season’s fifth qualifying run on the Eurospeedway Lausitz. He came in before his opponents Andreas Simonsen and Christian Bebion from Grafenau. Damian Sawicki, who had brought in his second win of the season one day before, could defend his overall lead. Titleholder Thomas Marschall had to pull in his Supercopa in the third of 19 rounds due to technical problems.

This year, the racing series, sponsored by SONAX, will be run on eight racing weekends. The next races will take place at the Norisring on 3rd and 4th July 2010.
