Brilliant! - Limitless shine

Brilliant!

At this time of the year, every car that had to put up with road salt, wet conditions and street dirt during winter can do with a thorough paintwork polish after car wash. Like many others, Olaf G. from Dortmund has the following question: “Which polish is the best for my car’s paint condition in spring?”

Answer: To reobtain a nice deep shine, the polish may have a slightly higher content of abrasives. The saphire polish is a true innovation here: it is suitable for the restoration of all paint types and for all paintwork conditions – no matter if heavily weathered or slightly dull. The formula contains high-tech sapphire polishing granules, which have an intensive abrasive effect and thus smooth fine scratches. During polishing, these granules resolve into nano-fine particles producing a perfect glossy finish, which so far has only been possible with polishing machines.

Limitless shine

In contrast to conventional polishes that reach their limits quickly, the repeated treatment with the sapphire polish – even when applied manually – clearly and visibly improves the surfaces. Ambitious users therefore treat partial areas several times to achieve the desired perfect surface quality. Additionally, the sheen effect’s long-term resistance has been advanced as well: the gloss lasts much longer than with conventional polishes.
The product comes in a set with practical accessories. One of them is the eye-catching “P-Ball” polishing sponge. Especially developed for this product, it helps apply a well-directed pressure to the paint surface without much effort and achieve an improved paint surface. Also in the set: a microfibre cloth for thorough and smear-free polishing results.

To ensure basic paintwork preservation, the formula contains top-class Carnauba wax. However, an additional intensive sealing with high-quality hard wax is recommended.

Products

High-End polishing technology based on nano sapphires for paintwork of all types and conditions. The polish completely removes even the finest scratches, wears away weathered paint layers and really freshens up dull colours. It produces a perfect paintwork finish and a very even deep shine, and because it optimally smoothens out the paintwork, it will outlast many washes. It enables a perfect polishing result free from holograms, streaks and clouds, and will also remove any existing holograms. In addition, the product contains Carnauba wax which provides fundamental protection to the treated paintwork surfaces. The set consists of the polish, the special SONAX P-Ball with sponge as well as a high quality Microfibre Cloth.

Off with the grime!

In this season a thorough washing of the car is called for. A frequently asked question from car fans is: Which is best, a manual washing or a trip through the automatic car wash?
These last weeks, there, no doubt, have been several car drivers thinking about the following question that Hubert M. from Berlin sent in: “The windscreen of my car is quite new, but already has some scratches, which are annoying particularly with oncoming lights. Are the scratches a result of ice scraping?”

Acid-free rim cleaning - thoroughly and material-friendly

Acid containing wheel cleaners can induce corrosion on wheel bolts and metal parts like the brake calipers.
In many maintenance guides for alloy wheels a sealant is recommended for maintaining the value and to simplify the cleaning. The care tip from expert Richard Hanauer is the SONAX XTREME Wheel rim coating: "The easy to use spray from the SONAX XTREME series, in the latest generation based on a further developed hybrid formula, which offers distinct advantages over conventional processes.
It seems confusing to many motorists, when a winter windscreen cleaner claims to provide freeze protection at minus 60 degrees. In our latitudes it is a rare occurrence to see the thermometer standing at -20 degrees Celsius. Such freeze protection figures are therefore, misleading. Incidentally, these cleaners would be so viscous, even at -40 degrees Celsius, that they could hardly be conveyed through the windscreen washer system.
