SONAX Insect star against „paint devourers“
The vexatious summer topic of insects will probably never cease: Insect dirt looks nasty and it damages the car’s paintwork. The organic “paint devourers” can induce serious damage, particularly when exposed to solar radiation. And the longer it sticks to the paintwork, the deeper the residues eat into the paintwork surface. Under the microscope craters and cracks are then to be seen. For that reason paintwork care is not just a question of attractive appearance – it is, in this case, indispensable for damage prevention and to maintain the value of the car.
For best results remove the creatures directly after the typical motorway or country road journey with an effective special cleaner that is gentle on materials, such as the SONAX Insect star. It can be optimally distributed and develops an intensive cleaning effect – and thanks to its viscous consistency the Insect star also works well on vertical surfaces.
The surface can be wiped over, if required – for best results with a special insect sponge for the paintwork, which will not make scratches. Make sure that the dissolved dirt is thoroughly rinsed off afterwards, preferably by washing the car as usual.

These damages can be avoided – with SONAX Insect Star and SONAX Tree sap remover, which also fights contamination caused by bird droppings. (Source paint damages: Lackschadenkatalog, Vogel Buchverlag)
