Insect dirt doesn’t just look nasty – it is an organic „paint destroyer“ that, especially when exposed to the sun, can cause severe damage to the paintwork. And that can prove very expensive, the longer they stick on the paintwork, the deeper the residues eat their way into the paintwork surface.
As a rule, this is less of a problem in the city. But after a typical journey on the motorway or country roads, it is advisable to help out the paintwork with an effective special cleaner, that is also gentle on materials, such as SONAX Insect star. With its practical trigger spray the cleaner is easy to apply, which allows its intensive cleaning effect to develop.
Good to know: thanks to its slightly viscous consistency, the formula also works well on vertical surfaces. If necessary, you can wipe over a little – but only with a special insect sponge for the paintwork, which does not cause scratches. Dirt contamination from bird droppings and tree sap are irritating and also damaging to paintwork.
