Spraying is better than scraping

These last weeks, there, no doubt, have been several car drivers thinking about the following question that Hubert M. from Berlin sent in: “The windscreen of my car is quite new, but already has some scratches, which are annoying particularly with oncoming lights. Are the scratches a result of ice scraping?
Answer: Yes, dirt particles and small stones quickly cause scratches on the glass when using an ice scraper in freezing temperatures. The scratches produce diffused light making the lights of oncoming cars blind the driver. In most cases, the application of SONAX Window de-icer is much more gentle and convenient than ice scrapers. The efficient spray achieved the best individual score in the ADAC test and ensures a clear view fast. In addition, is prevents the windscreen from freezing again after a few metres already. The product’s glycerine keeps the wipers pliable.
The window de-icer also clears thick ice layers – for example after freezing rain. In these rare cases, however, SONAX Window de-icer needs to be sprayed on the windscreen several times. By the way: the product may also serve as preventive measure – simply spray the windscreen before a cold night and it will not freeze as fast.
