Our Research and Development Department gives its all to develop vehicle care products that live up to the premium character of the SONAX brand. Easy to use, excellent cleaning and care performance, great innovations: these are our personal demands. We are even happier when both customers and the market appreciate our intensive work. Our first-class ratings, numerous reader’s choice awards and top marks from leading car magazines speak for themselves and spur us on towards continuous improvement. At this point, we would like to give a big thank-you to our customers – without you, none of this would have been possible!
SONAX is once again the “Brand of the Century” in the field of car care. What started as a book has now become an exclusive award: Every three years, “German Standards – Brands of the Century” honours those brands that are fixed in the public imagination and are part of the top tier of German products. A transparent selection process and the limitation of the awards to one brand per category ensure exclusivity.

For the 17th time in a row SONAX is the best brand of 2022 for the magazine “auto motor und sport”. The results of the reader poll were conclusive: 58.4 percent were convinced that SONAX is the best brand in the field of “care products”. This puts the illustrious manufacturer far ahead of the competition (issue 07/2022). The Neuburg company is thrilled to have gained the award, as the magazine reaches 1.64m readers and is one of the most important sources of information regarding test and drive reports, new vehicles and leisure and motorsports journalism.
As in previous years, the car care specialist enjoys a great reception from readers of “Auto Bild”: 59.91 percent voted for SONAX in 2022 – with the company once again achieving “best brand in all classes” for car care (edition 16/2022).
SONAX products are beloved by readers of AUTO ZEITUNG as car care products. Over 14,000 participants selected brands in eleven sectors whose quality they particularly value and trust. Once again, SONAX was able to enjoy the gold rating of “Top Brand 2022” in the “care products” sector. The full results of the “Top Brands 2022” readers’ choice awards were published in edition 4/2022 of “Auto Zeitung”.
The lovers and fans of classic cars also rely on SONAX care products. The discerning readers of the classic car magazine “Motor Klassik” by auto motor und sport selected their preferred brands in 20 categories of care products. One again, SONAX enjoyed the award in the category “Paint and Chrome Care”, receiving the “Best Brand Award” 2022 (edition 07/2022).
For the eighth time in a row, SONAX takes first place in the care and cleaning category of the ETM Award readers' poll Best Brand 2022 in the magazine "Werkstatt aktuell".
The magazine “Sport Auto” asked its readers which brands are the most valued for kitting out and refitting sports vehicles. We are very pleased to say that the readers’ choice for Best Brand 2022 in the field of care products was SONAX.
